About Judy Davie — The Food Coach
Judy Davie is one of Australia’s original healthy eating pioneers. She founded The Food Coach in 2001 — long before “wellness” became a trend — to help Australians eat well without the confusion. Author of The Green Grocer’s Diet, Read the Label, and Star Foods (co-authored with Joanna McMillan), and personal trainer, Judy built a national following as a media commentator, columnist, and presenter known for her practical, down-to-earth approach.
Now based in Avalon on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Judy combines her deep nutrition expertise with strength and balance coaching for over 55s, helping people stay strong, nourished, and engaged in life. Her philosophy is simple: healthy eating should enhance your life — not restrict it.
